Egans Creek Park, designed to accommodate people with disabilities, is a park right on Egans Creek that people with and without disabilities can enjoy. The mission of Egans Creek Park is to enhance the community through the development of a recreational environment that is universally accessible to all. There is a 1/4 mile walking trail around the park and a meditation labyrinth. There is a significant focus on landscape design of the park including the planting of Southern Live Oaks and species of native plants throughout. Arboretum accreditation provides the public an accessible, educational local arboretum experience to enhance their knowledge of North Florida horticultural collections and give them a better understanding of the importance of conservation.
