About

Keep Nassau Beautiful invites you to become a founding member of the Gardens of Amelia. By joining this first-of-its-kind program in northeast Florida you are sharing your dedication to the conservation and  beautification of our island home.

Simply register your garden (no garden too small), and watch your inbox for invitations to join in upcoming events, conservation efforts, special projects, and opportunities for accreditation and recognition.

Along the way, we may challenge you to:

  • learn about native plant communities suited to your property,
  • help replant our historic maritime forest,
  • earn arboretum accreditation,
  • create a Special Collection in your garden,
  • adopt a hand-crafted bee hotel made by an Amelia Island student,
  • participate in an island-wide pollinator pathway effort,
  • enter a horticultural design contest…

…or simply access and enjoy our educational web content and events.
