Helianthus debilis is a species of sunflower commonly known as the cucumber leaf sunflower, beach sunflower, or East Coast dune sunflower. It is native to the United States, where it can be found along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.

This species may be an annual or perennial herb. It is usually perennial, but it may only last one season in climates where freezes occur. While not as towering as its sunflower relatives, the Cucumberleaf Sunflower makes up for it with its bright yellow petals. Often seen in sandy coastal soils, this plant is eye-catching and serves an ecological role by stabilizing dunes.

It can reach a height of 2 meters. The leaves are usually arranged alternately and are variable in shape and size. They are usually yellow in the wild, but cultivars have seen whitish, reddish, or orange florets. The center of the head is filled with many red, yellowish, or purplish disc florets.
